HTZ Communications
by ATDI · HTZ series
HTZ Communications is ATDI’s flagship radio network planning and spectrum engineering platform, covering the complete network lifecycle — design, planning, and optimisation — for radio technologies from a few kHz up to 1 THz. It succeeds ATDI’s earlier ICS telecom product and has been used by spectrum regulators, critical-communications operators, and telecom carriers for over three decades.
Key Features
What sets it apart
- Propagation engine with a library of 50+ empirical, deterministic, and hybrid models, including ITU-R, Okumura-Hata, COST-Hata, and the Longley-Rice Irregular Terrain Model
- Outdoor, indoor, and combined outdoor-to-indoor coverage modelling, including Wi-Fi 6 environments
- GIS engine that builds high-resolution 3D building models directly from Digital Surface Model (DSM) data
- Support for massive MIMO and dynamic beamforming analysis
- Covers cellular (2G through 5G), PMR, broadcast, IoT, satellite, and radar network types
- Automated radio network planning to reduce repetitive manual site-design work
Applications
